Within the framework of the national project “Czech Journey to Space”, a gala evening was held on 18 June 2025 in the newly reconstructed Planetarium Prague with the participation of astronaut Aleš Svoboda, the Minister of Transport of the Czech Republic Martin Kupka, the Director of the Department of Space Activities and New Technologies and Head of the Czech Representation in ESA Václav Kobra, ZERO-G flight cadets and other distinguished guests, who had the opportunity to attend the presentation of two books by Aleš Svoboda entitled “Ke hvězdám” and “Do oblak.”

In the panel discussion on space technologies, moderated by Jan Spratek, the following speakers took the floor:

  • Jakub Rozehnal, Director of Planetum Praha
  • JIří Dušek, Senator, Director of the Brno Observatory and Planetarium
  • Ladislav Janíček, Rector of the Brno University of Technology
  • Vladimír Remek, the first Czech-Slovak cosmonaut

The whole evening was accompanied by amazing digital projections, which took place in the newly renovated planetarium, which is unique in the world in its technical equipment and content.
