Project manager
Main responsibilities/assignments:
- Supporting projects on all activities related to project cost, schedule and risk, project management processes and administrative functions, internal and external reporting. This includes work breakdown structure, financial matters, scheduling, configuration, documentation, progress control, geographical return and general project administration.
- Supporting the preparation, procurement and monitoring of complex procurement actions, from tendering to closure of contract, and for management, financial and planning aspects.
- Supporting negotiations with industrial contractors, and supporting the project team in various programmatic aspects and provide the necessary elements for management decision-making.
- Preparing, maintaining and reporting on cost-at-completion status, including annual cost plans and workforce planning, identifying potential problem areas and proposing remedial action.
- Supporting project reviews. Participation in technical projects meetings.
- Preparation and negotiation of CCN if necessary.
Required technical skills/competences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or relevant discipline.
- Experience in the application of project management, project control principles and advanced project control techniques are essential.
- The ability to summarize complex information and having the ability to prepare reports, dashboards and KPIs.
- The position will be involved in several projects simultaneously, hence good planning, prioritization and interpersonal skills are key soft skills.
- Knowledge and/or understanding of space systems architecture and engineering experience in a project or programme will be an asset.
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and solve problems effectively.
- Teamwork skills.
A professional level of the English language (oral and written) is required. Other European languages are beneficial but not necessary.

Payload Engineer
Main responsibilities/assignments:
- Monitoring scientific activities related to the development, integration, testing and initial operations (commissioning phase) of the assigned science payloads.
- Providing support for the early assessment of the feasibility of potential new payloads.
- Supporting gradual establishment of the payload baseline, from requirements up to and including end-item verification and definition.
- Helping coordinate the specialized engineering support provided by the Technical team.
- Providing continuous status monitoring for the payload activities, identifying development risks and critical areas, assigning corrective actions, devising solutions for resource conflicts and implementing the necessary changes to the established requirements.
- Assist with program management, schedule tracking, and product management.
- Supporting technical discussions/negotiations with science teams related to the payloads.
- Attending project reviews at system, ground segment, and payload level.
- Providing support to contractors in defining and implementing the functional specifications, in defining and controlling the payload external and internal interfaces, the safety aspects, and the compliance with the scientific requirements, and in documenting the verification of all payload requirements.
- Systems engineering support tasks as needed.
- The overview of the Hardware Development & Qualification activities related to the payload.
- Support the development, qualification and delivery of the payload subsystem.
- Support payload development lifecycle and change management process.
- Actively attend customer and integrated team meetings and facilitate technical exchanges.
Required technical skills/competences:
- A Master’s degree in physics and/or engineering for this position is required.
- Ability to manage relationships between the science team and the engineering team as well as good communication skills.
- Result-oriented approach to work in a multi discipline project environment.
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively.
- Teamwork skills.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports.

Senior Spacecraft System Engineer
Main responsibilities/assignments:
- Manage the development, qualification and delivery of the assigned spacecraft system/subsystem.
- System Engineering development lifecycle and change management process.
- Operation concept development, system and product design, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and control.
- Develop and manage spacecraft system/subsystem requirements tracking and verification techniques.
- Create simulations and perform analysis across spacecraft system/subsystem functions.
- Build test methods and plans for new developments through final product deployment.
- In collaboration with team members, develop interface specifications and other design documents.
- Lead customer and integrated team meetings and facilitate technical exchanges.
- Assist with program management, schedule tracking, and product management.
- Effectively work and communicate with all levels of management and team member contributors on the program.
- Overview of the Hardware Development & Qualification activities related to the project.
- Systems Engineering support tasks as needed.
Required technical skills/competences:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Space System Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years relevant professional working experience in the space industry.
- Ability to manage relationships between the technical team and the customer as well as good communication skills.
- Result-oriented approach to work in a multidisciplinary project environment.
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and solve problems effectively.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports.

Python developer intern
Main responsibilities/assignments:
- Collaborate with our structural analysis team to gain an in-depth understanding of existing Python codebase for post-processing structural analysis results conducted in Nastran software.
- Refactor, organize, and comment on the existing codebase to improve its readability, maintainability, and overall structure.
- Debug and resolve software issues in close coordination with the structural department to ensure the software’s accuracy and reliability.
- Take ownership of the codebase’s documentation by creating a comprehensive manual, providing clear instructions and insights for both current and future developers.
- Contribute to the enhancement of a critical software tool that will play a key role in our structural analysis workflow.
Required technical skills/competences:
- Python programming language (preferably following libraries: NumPy, OpenPyXL, Qt Designer, PyQt5)
- Familiarity with software development concepts, including debugging, version control, and code documentation.
- Communication skills to document code, collaborate with team members, and create a comprehensive manual.
