This new separation system is optimized for <\/span><strong data-start=\"352\" data-end=\"398\">LightSat missions (lightweight satellites)<\/strong><span> and provides a <\/span><strong data-start=\"414\" data-end=\"441\">cost-effective solution<\/strong><span> that is <\/span><strong data-start=\"450\" data-end=\"470\">fully compatible <\/strong><span>with the <\/span><strong data-start=\"480\" data-end=\"544\">PSC MLB (<span>Planetary Systems Corp Motorized Lightband<\/span><\/strong><strong data-start=\"480\" data-end=\"544\" style=\"font-size: 20px;\">) system<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h3><strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>key components of the lcs4 system<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4 data-start=\"599\" data-end=\"633\"><strong data-start=\"604\" data-end=\"631\">1. Separation Subsystem<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"969\" data-end=\"1265\">\n<li data-start=\"969\" data-end=\"1103\"><strong data-start=\"971\" data-end=\"992\">Locking Mechanism<\/strong> \u2013 Securely holds the satellite during <strong data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1067\">pre-launch operations and flight<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1100\">releases it upon command<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1104\" data-end=\"1265\">Designed to provide <strong data-start=\"1126\" data-end=\"1160\">controlled separation velocity<\/strong> while <strong data-start=\"1167\" data-end=\"1198\">minimizing unwanted torques<\/strong>, which could affect the satellite\u2019s post-separation orientation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-start=\"1267\" data-end=\"1320\"><strong data-start=\"1272\" data-end=\"1299\">3.
