As part of the PUMR-B project activities under the Czech National Mission, we attended an inspiring workshop at the CATRIN science center (UPOL) in Olomouc. This day was not only about networking, but above all about gaining deep insight into modern technologies that are changing our view of the plant kingdom.🌱
What did the meeting bring?🌱🔬
- The secrets of electrochemistry and phenotyping: We took a look inside specialized laboratories where cutting-edge research in the field of electrochemistry is combined with detailed plant phenotyping.
- New insights: Expert discussions allowed us to better understand the fascinating processes of how plants function at the molecular and systemic levels.
- Synergy between disciplines: The meeting once again brought the engineering and biological spheres closer together, which is key to the development of new technologies within our mission.
Our day together confirmed that the most interesting solutions arise at the boundaries between different scientific disciplines. We would like to thank our colleagues at CATRIN for sharing their know-how and look forward to further collaboration.
